The Affair Season 4 Official Trailer Released

Showtime has released the official season four trailer for the Golden Globe Award-winning drama series The Affair. Check out the trailer in the player below, which asks, “What happens to people like us? The ones who can’t be forgiven?”

In addition to the trailer, starting on Friday, May 11, Showtime will give viewers an opportunity to sample the first season of The Affair. Consumers will be able to watch all 10 episodes of season one for free on YouTube, Facebook, and sho.com, as well as across multiple television and streaming providers’ devices, websites, applications, and authenticated online services and their free On Demand channels. All three seasons of The Affair are currently available to Showtime subscribers on streaming, authenticated and on-demand platforms, including Showtime On Demand and Showtime Anytime.

The Affair explores the emotional and psychological effects of an affair that destroyed two marriages, and the crime that brings these individuals back together. Season four finds Noah (West), Helen (Tierney), Alison (Wilson) and Cole (Jackson) in their own orbits, alienated from each other, spinning further and further away from where they all began. Every character is involved in a new relationship, forcing them even to decide if they’re ready and willing to leave the past behind for good – with a season about new beginnings, tragic ends and the ever-elusive possibility of forgiveness.

Sanaa Lathan joins season four as Janelle, the tough-as-nails principal of the character school where Noah teaches. Ramon Rodriguez guest stars as Ben, a Marine veteran now employed by the VHA and Alison’s new love interest. Additional season four guest stars include Russell Hornsby (Grimm), Christopher Meyer (The Fosters), Amy Irving (Yentl) and Phoebe Tonkin (The Vampire Diaries).

Writers Guild Award-winning playwright and writer/producer Sarah Treem (House of Cards, In Treatment) and Hagai Levi (In Treatment) created the series. Treem, also the showrunner, and Levi serve as executive producers. Jessica Rhoades is an executive producer on season four.

The series, starring Golden Globe nominee Dominic West, Golden Globe winner Ruth Wilson, Emmy Award nominee, and Golden Globe winner Maura Tierney and Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Joshua Jackson, will premiere on Sunday, June 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
