Following last night’s mid-season premiere of the series, The CW has released the first promo for next week’s episode of Riverdale and photos for the next two episodes! Check them out below!
Set to air Wednesday, January 31, Episode 2.12 of the series is titled “Chapter Twenty-Five: The Wicked and the Divine” and is described as follows:
“As preparations for her confirmation ceremony get underway, Veronica (Camila Mendes) becomes concerned that Archie (KJ Apa), who’s agreed to be Hiram’s (Mark Consuelos) “intern,” may be learning too much about her family’s secret business dealings. Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and FP (Skeet Ulrich) lead the charge after an incident at Pickens Park leads to increased tensions among the Serpents. Meanwhile, Chic (guest star Hart Denton) helps Betty (Lili Reinhart) deal with her inner darkness, while Archie finds himself in over his head after a high-stakes poker game with Hiram’s shady inner-circle goes awry. Marisol Nichols, Madchen Amick, Luke Perry, Ashleigh Murray and Casey Cott also star.”
Rachel Talalay directed the episode, which was written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
Following that, Episode 2.13 of the series will air Wednesday, February 7 and is titled “Chapter Twenty-Six: The Tell-Tale Heart.” The episode is described as follows:
“Betty (Lili Reinhart) turns to Jughead (Cole Sprouse) for help when the consequences of a hasty decision come back to haunt her. Veronica (Camila Mendes) organizes a face to face meeting after tensions between Hiram (Mark Consuelos), FP (Skeet Ulrich) and Jughead spiral out of control. Elsewhere, Archie (KJ Apa) is forced to make a tough decision after Agent Adams (guest star John Behlmann) takes things one step too far. Madelaine Petsch, Marisol Nichols, Madchen Amick, Luke Perry, Ashleigh Murray and Casey Cott also star.”
Julie Plec directed the episode, which was written by Michael Grassi.
KJ Apa stars as Archie Andrews in the series along with Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones and Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom.
