We have a brand new trailer for the upcoming NBC comedy Good Girls, starring Christina Hendricks (Mad Men, Firefly), Mae Whitman (Parenthood, Arrested Development) and Retta (Parks and Recreation, Fracture). You can check out the new Good Girls trailer in the player below.
Good Girls is the story of three suburban moms (Hendricks, Whitman and Retta) who are having trouble with money and decide to rob the local supermarket at (toy) gunpoint. The manager sees one of them and they end up with far more than they expected, making things rather difficult. Also cast in the series are Reno Wilson (Mike & Molly, Transformers), Manny Montana (Lucifer, Power), Lidya Jewett (Hidden Figures, WITS Academy), Izzy Stannard (Star Stuff: The Story of Carl Sagan, The Park Bench: William & Jennifer) and Matthew Lillard (She’s All That, Scooby-Doo). In the trailer, we get a pretty good look at what would lead these three woman to rob a grocery store.
Here is the official synopsis: “When three suburban moms get tired of trying to make ends meet, they decide it’s time to stick up for themselves by robbing the local supermarket at (toy) gunpoint. But when the manager catches a glimpse of one of them and the loot is far more than they expected, it doesn’t take long for the three best friends to realize the perfect getaway will be harder than they think.”
Good Girls was created by Shondaland alum Jenna Bans, who will also serve as executive producer alongside Jeannine Renshaw and Dean Parisot. Parisot directed the pilot for Universal Television.
