Straight from the series’ reunion panel at San Diego Comic-Con, USA Network has released the first teaser for the upcoming Psych: The Movie, the long-awaited follow-up to the fan-favorite show.
Psych: The Movie will be a two-hour affair and will premiere on the network in December of this year and is officially described as follows:
“The ambitious friends — along with some returning fan-favorite characters — come together during the holidays after a mystery assailant targets one of their own. A comedic thrill ride follows, as the wild and unpredictable Psych team pursues the bad guys, justice …and food!”
James Roday and Dule Hill return as Shawn and Gus for the special with Corbin Bernsen, Kirsten Nelson, Maggie Lawson, Kurt Fuller, and Zachary Levi appears in the movie as villain Thin White Duke. In addition, Jazmyn Simon, Ralph Macchio, and Charlotte Flair will appear in the special.
The Psych series was created by Steve Franks and ran on the USA Network for eight seasons from 2006-2014. Psych: The Movie will debut this December on USA.
