Check out a Supergirl sneak peek for ‘Alex’ and get some info about the show’s season finale!
The CW has released a new Supergirl sneak peek for the upcoming episode “Alex,” which airs tonight on the network. In it, we see Maggie (Floriana Lima) negotiating with a person holding hostages, when Supergirl attacks the situation in a very different way. Check out the synopsis for the episode below.
ALEX IS KIDNAPPED – Alex (Chyler Leigh) is kidnapped and the kidnapper threatens to kill her unless Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) releases a notorious criminal from prison. Supergirl and Maggie (Floriana Lima) have always had different approaches to apprehending criminals but this time they must work together to save Alex. Meanwhile, Rhea (guest star Teri Hatcher) has an interesting proposal for Lena (Katie McGrath).
In addition, to the Supergirl sneak peek, we have some info about when we’ll meet the new villain for season 3 of the show. In an interview with CBR, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said that we’ll see the villain in the season 2 finale, which airs on May 22. He said that viewers “will get a glimpse of the Season 3 villain in the finale, which we’re also excited about.” General Zod will appear in that episode as well, though it might not be him since Kriesberg said, “glimpse.”
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist in the title role, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, with Dean Cain and Helen Slater. Supergirl season two has also featured recurring roles for Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Floriana Lima as Maggie Sawyer, and Lynda Carter, star of the ’70s Wonder Woman series, as the President of the United States.
