Sit down with Catastrophe’s Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan
This Friday, Amazon‘s hit comedy series Catastrophe returns for its third season. All six season three episodes will be available to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. If you haven’t had a chance to watch the show yet, there’s still time to binge seasons one and two via the service. Created and written by stars Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney, Catastrophe follows an Irish woman and an American man who wind up in love despite their many failings and who ultimately decide to take marriage and parenthood head on together.

CS recently sat down with Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan to talk about what goes into making Catastrophe. In the player below, you can check out our video interview with the multi-talented pair. They discuss their approach to the show’s six-episode seasons and the show’s unique distribution, airing on Britain’s Channel 4 and streaming through Amazon domestically.
The third season of Catastrophe also marks one of the final acting appearances from the late Carrie Fisher. Fisher appeared on Catastrophe throughout the show’s first two seasons, playing the role of Mia, Rob’s mother. Fisher completed work on Catastrophe season three shortly before her death late last year.
Catastrophe is produced by Avalon Television, with co-producers Birdbath Productions and Merman. The already-greenlit Catastrophe season four is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in the US in 2018.
