AMC+ has shared another behind-the-scenes video for the upcoming Interview with the Vampire Season 2, featuring the creative team and cast discussing what to expect from the next installment of the hit horror drama.
The video teases Lestat’s new role in Season 2, confirming that Louis will constantly have visions of him during his time in Paris. It also highlights how Lestat’s unlikely presence in Louis’ life will affect his budding romance with Armand. The series is scheduled to return on May 12 on AMC and AMC+.

Who’s the cast of Interview with the Vampire?
Interview With the Vampire is written and executive produced by Emmy nominee Rolin Jones, who also serves as the showrunner. Season 2 stars Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt, Delainey Hayles as Claudia, Ben Daniels as Santiago, Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, Assad Zaman as Armand, and more. It is executive produced by Mark Johnson and Christopher Rice.
“In the year 2022, the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac recounts his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy,” reads the synopsis. “Picking up from the bloody events in New Orleans in 1940 when Louis and teen fledgling Claudia conspired to kill the Vampire Lestat de Lioncourt, Louis tells of his adventures in Europe, a quest to discover Old World Vampires and the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris, with Claudia. It is in Paris that Louis first meets the Vampire Armand. Their courtship and love affair will prove to have devastating consequences both in the past and in the future, and Molloy will probe to get to the truths buried within the memories.”
