Netflix has revealed a One Piece blooper reel of the live-action adaptation’s cast from the first season‘s filming. The first season is now streaming on Netflix, while a second season has been confirmed.
“Monkey D. Luffy is a young adventurer who has longed for a life of freedom since he can remember,” reads the series‘ synopsis. “Luffy sets off from his small village on a perilous journey to find the legendary fabled treasure, One Piece, to become King of the Pirates! But in order to find the ultimate prize, Luffy will need to assemble the crew he’s always wanted before finding a ship to sail, searching every inch of the vast blue seas, outpacing the Marines, and outwitting dangerous rivals at every turn.”

Based on Oda’s iconic manga of the same name, the series follows Monkey D. Luffy, a pirate who gains the powers to turn his body to rubber after eating a “Devil Fruit.” He ventures around a fantastical world of exotic islands and vast oceans in search of the legendary treasure known as “One Piece.”
The One Piece live-action series is written and executive produced by Steven Maeda (The X-Files) and Matt Owens (Agents of SHIELD), with Maeda set as the showrunner. Executive producers are Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios along with original manga author Oda.
Who stars in Netflix’s One Piece?
The live-action One Piece series is led by Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu as Rorona Zoro, Rudd as Nami, Gibson as Usopp, and Skylar as Sanji. Joining them are Peter Gadiot as Shanks, Morgan Davies as Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino as Alvida, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo, Jeff Ward as Buggy, McKinley Belcher III as Arlong, Craig Fairbrass as Chef Zeff, Vincent Regan as Garp, Steven Ward as Mihawk, Langley Kirkwood as Captain Morgan, and more. For its Japanese-dubbed version, the original anime cast reprises their respective roles.
