A new Goosebumps trailer has been released by Disney, previewing the Justin Long-led horror comedy show based on R.L. Stine‘s iconic books. The trailer shows Long’s character get possessed by a ghost, leading the ghost to terrorize the children of the people who bullied him years ago.
What is the new Goosebumps show about?
“Plunging viewers into a world of mystery and suspense, the new Goosebumps series follows a group of five high schoolers as they embark on a shadowy and twisted journey to investigate the tragic passing three decades earlier of a teen named Harold Biddle — while also unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past,” reads the new series’ logline.

The horror comedy series, a reimagining of the 1995 show, follows a group of five high schoolers who unleash supernatural forces upon their town and must all work together to save it.
Nick Stoller and Rob Letterman created and executive produced this version, who previously helmed the 2015 Goosebumps movie starring Jack Black. The series stars Justin Long, Miles McKenna, Will Price, Ana Yi Puig, Zack Morris, Isa Briones, Rachael Harris, and Rob Huebel.
Goosebumps is set to premiere on Disney Plus and Hulu on Friday, October 13.
