The world of Thomas & Friends is expanding, as the upcoming 26th season of the series will introduce a new series regular and the first autistic character in the series’ history.

When the 26th season of Thomas & Friends premieres on September 12, 2022, fans will be introduced to Bruno, a new character to the series. This joyful, pun-making brake car is also autistic, making him the first-ever autistic character in the series.
The character — who is also voiced by an autistic voice actor — will play an important role in the series, as he can move in reverse and knows where all the tracks lead in the world of Sodor.
