Netflix has released the full trailer for The Longest Night, its newest Spanish-language series, which is a crime drama thriller set in a psychiatric prison. All six episodes will be available for streaming on Friday, July 8.

The video highlights an intense action-packed story set in a psychiatric prison that has been taken over by armed men who demand the release of a notorious serial killer.

The Longest Night is directed by Oscar Pedraza from a screenplay written by Xosé Moraisa and Victoriano Sierra Ferreiro. The series will be starring Alberto Ammann as Hugo, Fran Berenguer as Richi, David Solans as Javi, José Luis García Pérez as Lennon, Luis Callejo as Simón Lago, and Maria Caballero as Laura.
“Armed men surround a psychiatric prison and cut off all communications,” reads the logline. “Their purpose: to capture serial killer Simón Lago. Six episodes. One night.”
