HBO Max has released the official Minx trailer for the upcoming half-hour comedy series, starring Jake Johnson and Ophelia Lovibond. It will be available for streaming on March 17, with two new episodes debuting each week through April 14.
The Minx trailer begins with a young woman as she struggles to pitch her feminist magazine to publishers. Soon after, her vision catches the attention of a low-rent publisher, who’s willing to help her deliver her message through the first women’s adult magazine.

Minx is created and executive produced by Ellen Rapoport. It stars Ophelia Lovibond (Elementary, Guardians of the Galaxy), Jake Johnson (New Girl, Tag), Idara Victor (Shameless), Jessica Lowe (Wrecked), Lennon Parham (HBO’s Veep), Michael Angarano (The Knick), Oscar Montoya (Reno 911) and Taylor Zakhar Perez (The Kissing Booth 2).
Set in 1970s Los Angeles, the series centers around Joyce, an earnest young feminist who joins forces with a low-rent publisher to create the first erotic magazine for women,” reads the synopsis.

Minx is executive produced by Paul Feig and Dan Magnante for Feigco Entertainment along with Johnson, Ben Karlin, and Rachel Lee Goldenberg, who also directed the pilot. It is a production by Lionsgate Television.
