Prime Video has dropped the official trailer for the upcoming U.S. premiere of BBC Studios’ crime thriller comedy titled The Outlaws. All six episodes will be available for streaming on Friday, April 1.
The Outlaws trailer, which you can check out below along with the poster, highlights a group of misfits who have been tasked to do community service at an old abandoned building. However, after finding a bag of money hidden within the building, they suddenly get targeted by a criminal gang.

The Outlaws is written, directed, and executive produced by The Office co-creator Stephen Merchant, who’s also starring in the series as Greg. Joining him are Rhianne Barreto (Hanna) as Rani, Gamba Cole (Guerrilla) as Christian, Christopher Walken (Severance) as Frank, Eleanor Tomlinson (The Nevers) as Lady Gabriela, Darren Boyd (Trying) as John, Clare Perkins (The Wheel of Time) as Myrna, and Jessica Gunning (Fortitude) as Diane.
“The series is about a disparate group of lawbreakers thrown together to complete a community service sentence,” reads the synopsis. “Seven strangers from different walks of life are forced to work together to renovate a derelict community center. When one of their number gets dragged into a dangerous world of organized crime, they unite in ways none of them thought possible.”

The Outlaws is co-created by Merchant and Elgin James. Executive producers are Luke Alkin, Kenton Allen, and Matthew Justice, with BBC One and Amazon Studios co-producing. The first season made its U.K. debut last October on BBC One, and has already been renewed for a second season.
