Apple TV+ has revealed the full The Afterparty trailer for the forthcoming murder mystery comedy series, featuring an ensemble cast led by Tiffany Haddish. The series will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ starting on January 28, with the first three episodes which will then be followed by one episode weekly.
The video highlights the murder investigation of Dave Franco’s character, who got killed during the afterparty of his high school reunion. In order to find out who’s the killer, Tiffany Haddish gives the attendees the chance to tell their story who all have different perspectives of that night.

“The series centers on a murder mystery at a high school reunion,” reads the logline. “Each of the eight episodes features a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual style and film genre to match the teller’s personality.”
The Afterparty is created and directed by Chris Miller, who is also serving as the showrunner. The series stars Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), Sam Richardson (Veep), Zoë Chao (Love Life), Ben Schwartz (Space Force), Ike Barinholtz (The Mindy Project), Ilana Glazer (Broad City), Jamie Demetriou (Fleabag), Dave Franco (The Disaster Artist) and John Early (Search Party).

The series is executive produced by Oscar and Golden Globe-winning duo Chris Miller and Phil Lord. through their Lord Miller Productions banner as part of their expansive five-year overall television deal with Sony Pictures Television. It is produced by Aubrey Lee with Anthony King set as an executive producer.
