The CW has released the official trailer for the forthcoming third season of the supernatural mystery series Nancy Drew. The video stars Kennedy McMann as the titular teen detective as she leads the crew to a whole new case. The series is scheduled to make its return on Friday, October 8.
The Nancy Drew Season 3 trailer, which you can check out below, provides us a preview of the Drew Crew’s new cases involving another serial killer. It also teases a case where Nancy and some of her friends experienced a dangerous sleepwalking habit including Nancy pouring gasoline all over her.

Based on the character created by Edward Stratemeyer, Nancy Drew hails from Noga Landau, Josh Schwartz, and Stephanie Savage. Joining McMann are Leah Lewis (Charmed) as George, Tunji Kasim (Nearly Famous) as Nick, Alvina August (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) as Detective Karen Hunt, Maddison Jaizani (Versailles, Into the Badlands, Tyrant) as Bess, and Alex Saxon (The Fix, The Fosters, Finding Carter) as Ace.

The series centers around a brilliant teenaged detective whose sense of self had come from solving mysteries in her hometown of Horseshoe Bay, Maine – until her mother’s untimely death derails Nancy’s college plans.
