FXX has released the full trailer for the upcoming second season of their popular sitcom Dave, starring rapper Lil Dicky as he finds himself struggling with writer’s block. The video features the titular rapper as he struggles with coming up with new song ideas for his album while trying to deal with the pressures of succeeding and dating apps. It also teases a few of its upcoming guest stars including Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The series will be making its return on June 16 on FXX with a two-episode premiere, then new episodes available each subsequent week.

Based on the life of rapper and comedian Dave Burd (stage name Lil Dicky), FXX’s Dave centers around a neurotic man in his late twenties who has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. Dave hails from creators and executive producers Burd and Jeff Schaffer. It is executive produced by Saladin K. Patterson, Ben Sinclair, Luvh Rakhe, Kevin Hart and Hartbeat Productions, Scooter Braun, Greg Mottola, Marty Bowen, Mike Hertz, and SB Projects’ James Shin and Scott Manson.
The first season was a success for FXX as it became the network’s most-watched comedy series ever, with an average episodic audience of 9.4 million total viewers to date across linear, VOD, and streaming, and that number is growing.
