Prop Culture Trailer: Discover Timeless Treasure From Iconic Disney Films

Disney+ has released the official trailer for their upcoming documentary series titled Prop Culture, giving us a preview of the cool artifacts from iconic Disney films such as Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Tron, Mary Poppins, and more. The 8-episode series is scheduled to premiere on May 1. Check out the video in the player below!

Hosted by Dan Lanigan, who has been collecting props from movies and series for over 20 years, Prop Culture will give fans a rare look inside the Walt Disney Archives vault as the series revisits classic Disney films through beloved timeless artifacts. It will feature interviews from actors, set designers, costume designers, and other collectors.

The films that will be featured in the series are Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Tron, Mary Poppins, The Nightmare Before ChristmasWho Framed Roger Rabbit, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Disney‘s streaming service is the exclusive home in the U.S. for subscription-video-on-demand viewing of the newest live-action and animated series and movies from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel and Fox. The service is ad-free, supported solely by subscription fees, and will be available on gaming consoles, smart TVs, and connected streaming devices. It has already gained 50 million subscribers after five months since its launched in November 2019.
