Run is a romantic-comedic-thriller series that follows the story of Ruby, a woman living a humdrum existence, who one day gets a text inviting her to fulfill a youthful pact promising true love and self-reinvention by stepping out of her life to take a journey with her oldest flame Billy Johnson. A successful life guru who is born from a wealthy Irish family, Billy has the gift of the gab, deftly combining a boatload of charisma with a boundless need for approval.
The series stars Domhnall Gleeson (About Time) as Billy and Emmy Award-winning actress Meritt Wever (Nurse Jackie, Godless) as Ruby Dixie along with Golden Globe and Emmy winning-actress Waller-Bridge in a recurring role as Flick.
Vicky Jones has created and written the project and will also executive produce alongside Waller-Bridge through their DryWrite banner. The series is being produced by Entertainment One with Emily Leo of Wigwam Films also set to executive produce.
