The Darkness is Here in Marvel’s Runaways Season 3 Trailer

A few days after debuting the first poster for the upcoming third season of the Hulu hit, the streaming service has unveiled the first trailer for the continuing journey of Marvel’s Runaways. Teasing the arrival of Elizabeth Hurley’s malevolent Morgan le Fay, as well as the crossover with Freeform’s Cloak & Dagger, which can be viewed in the player below!

In Season 3, the Runaways frantically search for their captured friends Chase Stein, Gert Yorkes, and Karolina Dean. The kids go head to head with an unstoppable enemy who has targeted Leslie — or more accurately, the child she’s carrying. Nico Minoru draws them all into a dark realm where its ruler Morgan le Fay, played by Elizabeth Hurley, is much more nefarious than anyone the kids have yet to face.

The upcoming season will also feature the highly-anticipated crossover episode between Marvel’s Runaways and Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger which stars Olivia Holt as Tandy Bowen and Aubrey Joseph as Tyrone Johnson.

The cast for the series includes Ariela Barer (New Girl, One Day at a Time) as Gert Yorkes, Lyrica Okano (The Affair, Unforgettable) as Nico Minoru, Rhenzy Feliz (Teen Wolf, Casual) as Alex Wilder, Gregg Sulkin (Faking It, Don’t Hang Up, Anti Social) as Chase Stein, Virginia Gardner (Goat, Little Bitches) as Karolina Dean, and Allegra Acosta (100 Things to do Before High School, Just Add Magic) as Molly Hernandez.

The O.C. and Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage serve as co-showrunners/writers and executive produce the series along with Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Quinton Peeples. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available to stream on Hulu. The third season is set to premiere on December 13!
