Adam Driver and Kanye West will headline NBC‘s Saturday Night Live when it returns for its 44th season on September 29.
This will mark Driver’s second stint as host, following his first appearance in 2016 immediately following the release of Star Wars: the Force Awakens. The actor can currently be seen in Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman, and will reprise his role as the villainous Kylo Ren in Star Wars: Episode IX.
West returns for his seventh appearance as musical guest hot off the heels of his latest album, “Ye,” which released in June and earned him his eighth consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.
SNL was a big hit at the Emmys, winning the award for best variety show and seeing former cast members John Mulaney (Kid Gorgeous at Radio City) and Bill Hader (Barry) pick up writing and acting trophies.
Saturday Night Live is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
