Kyle Bradstreet to write & executive produce Alice Isn’t Dead TV series

Kyle Bradstreet, the executive producer for USA Network‘s Mr. Robot, is set to write and executive produce Alice Isn’t Dead, a TV series adaptation of Night Vale’s podcast of the same name as well as based on the upcoming novel by Joseph Fink. The project is currently in development at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions.

Fink’s Alice Isn’t Dead podcast follows Keisha, a truck driver searching across America for the wife she had long assumed was dead. In the course of her search, Keisha encounters not-quite-human serial killers, towns literally lost in time, and a conspiracy that goes way beyond one missing woman. Season one — which premiered on March 8, 2016 — and two of the podcast are available to binge now, and the novel is slated to be released on October 30, 2018, by Harper Perennial.

Elise Henderson, SVP of Development for Universal Cable Productions, said: “As a writer and executive producer, Kyle has been a great contributor to the success of Mr. Robot. We look forward to him bringing his vision and creativity to Alice Isn’t Dead and turning the successful podcast into a premium series.”

The Alice Isn’t Dead TV series falls under Bradstreet’s overall deal at UCP. The production company acquired the rights to the podcast last summer.
