Deathstroke Returns in new Arrow promo

Following last night’s new episode of the series, The CW has debuted the first promo and photos for next week’s all-new episode of Arrow featuring the return of Manu Bennett as Deathstroke!

Fittingly titled “Deathstroke Returns,” the episode is set to air Thursday November 9 and is officially described as follows:

“Slade (guest star Manu Bennett) returns and asks Oliver (Stephen Amell) for help in tracking down his son. When they learn Joe (guest star William Franklyn-Miller) has been taken hostage by mercenaries, their mission to save him gets complicated by a terrible revelation that could shatter Slade’s hopes of reunion forever. Meanwhile, Vigilante reappears in Star City.”

Joel Novoa directed the episode, which was written by Ben Sokolowski & Spiro Skentzos.

Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, John Barrowman as Malcom Merlyn, with Paul Blackthorne as Detective Lance. Manu Bennett is back as Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke, and his son, Joe Wilson, will be played by Liam Hall. Juliana Harkavy is playing Dinah Drake, David Nykl portrays Anatoly Knyazev, Michael Emerson is playing a mystery character, and Kirk Acevedo stars as Ricardo Diaz, aka Richard Dragon.

Based on the DC characters, the series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Wendy Mericle and Sarah Schechter. Arrow is produced by Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
