TNT casts India Eisley, Jefferson Mays and more opposite Chris Pine in One Day She’ll Darken
TNT has cast India Eisley (Underworld Awakening, Look Away) and a slew of others in their upcoming six-episode drama series One Day She’ll Darken. They’ll join Chris Pine (Wonder Woman, Star Trek) in the cast of the show and Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman) will direct the first two episodes. Sam Sheridan, author of A Fighter’s Heart and The Disaster Diaries, is set to write the series, inspired by the life of Fauna Hodel. The series is being produced by Turner’s Studio T, with Jenkins, Anonymous Content’s Michael Sugar (13 Reasons Why, Spotlight), Pine and Sheridan serving as executive producers. Production begins next month in Los Angeles.
Pine stars as Jay Singletary, a former Marine-turned-hack-reporter/paparazzo. The newcomers include Eisley as Fauna Hodel, Tony Award Winner Jefferson Mays (The Americans, Law & Order: SVU) as George Hodel, Yul Vazquez (Captain Phillips) as Billis, Justin Cornwell (Training Day, We Are Boats) as Terrence Shye, Dylan Smith (Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Lemonade) as Sepp, Jay Paulson (Mad Men) as Ohls and Golden Brooks (Girlfriends) as Jimmy Lee. Previously announced star Leland Orser (Berlin Station) will appear as Peter Sullivan, a Night Managing Editor for the Los Angeles Times.
One Day She’ll Darken tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel, a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery.
Eisley is known for playing the role of Ashley Juergens in the ABC Family television series The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Eve in the film Underworld: Awakening.
