Twisty the Clown will be back for American Horror Story Season 7
In news that will terrify any right-thinking person, Twisty the Clown will return for American Horror Story Season 7. Creator Ryan Murphy posted the news on his Instagram account with the caption, “He’s Baaaaaack.” John Carroll Lynch played the role of Twisty the Clown, who inspired Dandy’s (Finn Wittrock) behavior. You can check out his post below.
Back in February, creator and producer Ryan Murphy revealed the theme during a guest spot on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. He told Cohen,”Well, I don’t have a title, but the season we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through. So, I think that will be interesting for a lot of people.” Cohen asked if there would “be, like a Trump in it,” Murphy responded, “Uh, maybe.” The first episode will reportedly take place on election night.
American Horror Story was renewed for two more seasons back in January. The series has a number of recurring actors between seasons and Sarah Paulson (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story) and Evan Peters (X-Men: Days of Future Past) have already been confirmed to return. Billie Lourd (Scream, Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Billy Eichner (Difficult People, Billy on the Street with Billy Eichner), Cheyenne Jackson (30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm), Alison Pill (Hail, Caesar!, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Colton Haynes (Arrow, Teen Wolf), and Adina Howard (Bulletproof, A Thin Line Between Love & Hate) will also appear alongside Twisty the Clown in American Horror Story season 7.
