A Last Man Standing revival may be in the works at CMT
Though Last Man Standing was canceled by ABC back in May, that may not be the end of the show. CMT may be willing to take on a Last Man Standing revival, according to THR. This is all in the preliminary stages at this point and there is no guarantee as of yet. The network is reportedly looking at the cost of a Last Man Standing revival, how many episodes might work and if it will fit in the network’s price range.

The show ran for six seasons, totaling 130 episodes on the network, and wrapped its final season in March. Jay Leno guest-starred on the finale. Tim Allen (Home Improvement) starred as Mike Baxter, a conservative sporting-goods executive and father of three daughters played by Amanda Fuller, Molly Ephraim and Kaitlyn Dever. Nancy Travis played his wife Vanessa. His liberal son-in-law Ryan was played by Jordan Masterson.
Allen was the star of Home Improvement, which ran on ABC from 1991-1999 and starred in the The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2, and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. He’s also voiced the role of Buzz Lightyear in all three Toy Story films and will return for the fourth installment on June 21, 2019.
Last Man Standing also stars Christoph Sanders as Kyle Anderson, Flynn Morrison as Boyd Baxter, Jonathan Adams as Chuck Larabee and Hector Elizondo as Ed Alzate.
