The CW has just announced its May season finales, which are as follows:
May 11, 8pm – “The Originals”
Currently in its second season, this spin-off of “The Vampire Diaries” centers around the Mikaelson siblings, Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt) as they attempt to reclaim the city of New Orleans that once belonged to them.
May 11, 9pm – “Jane the Virgin”
A loose adaptation of the Venezuelan telenovela “Juana la Virgen” created by Perla Farías, this popular new series follows Jane Gloriana Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez), a 23-year-old religious young Latina woman who becomes pregnant after being artificially inseminated by mistake.
May 13, 8pm – “Arrow”
Currently in its third season, “Arrow” is based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow. Developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg, the show stars Stephen Amell as billionaire playboy/crimefighter Oliver Queen.
May 14, 8pm – “The Vampire Diaries”
Developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, based on the popular book series of the same name written by L. J. Smith, “The Vampire Diaries” is currently in its sixth season and takes place in Mystic Falls, Virginia where protagonist Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) falls in love with vampire Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and is drawn into the supernatural world.
May 14, 9pm – “Reign”
Currently in its second season, “Reign” was created by Stephanie SenGupta and Laurie McCarthy and follows the early years of Mary, Queen of Scots (Adelaide Kane) living in France.
May 19, 8pm – “The Flash”
Developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns, the new hit series “The Flash” is based on the DC Comics character Barry Allen/Flash (Grant Gustin).
May 20, 9pm – “Supernatural”
Currently enjoying its tenth season, “Supernatural” stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester, following the two brothers as they hunt demons, ghosts, monsters, and other supernatural beings in the world.
