Since the series is only “loosely inspired” by Mary Shelley’s classic novel, “True Blood” thesp Kazinsky won’t be playing your run-of-the-mill Boris Karloff imitation, but rather a 75-year-old deceased cop named Pritchard who is brought back. Given a new lease on life in a younger body, Pritchard has to choose between his old corrupt ways and a new path.
The horror-drama will co-star Adhir Kalyan (“Rules of Engagement”) as one of Frankenstein’s creators named Otto Goodwin. Hugh Fitzpatrick (“Tyrant”) serves as co-executive producer, with Michael Cuesta also executive producing and directing the pilot.
Kazinsky will next be seen opposite Reese Witherspoon and Sofía Vergara in Hot Pursuit, not to mention playing yet another monster in the form of orc Orgrim Doomhammer in Duncan Jones’ big budget version of Warcraft.
