The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s Colm Feore Cast as The Dollmaker on Gotham

Fans of FOX’s “Gotham” have known for some time that villain The Dollmaker was coming sooner or later, having been hinted at as early as the second episode in the series. Now Deadline brings word that Colm Feore is set to fill the shoes of the character on the series.

In “Gotham,” the character’s name will be Dr. Francis Dulmacher and he’s described as having “zealotry bordering on madness, and aided by his genius-level intellect and vast medical expertise.” This marks Feore’s third comic book role following an appearance as King Laufey in Thor and Donald Menken in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The character first appeared in 2011’s “Detective Comics” #1 where he cut off The Joker’s face. Real name Barton Mathis, the comic version of The Dollmaker saw his father killed at the hand of James Gordon as a young child and wear’s his dad’s skin as a mask. He has also previously appeared on The CW’s “Arrow” where he was played by Michael Eklund.

“Gotham” airs Mondays at 8 P.M. EST on FOX.
