Game of Thrones Launches Mysterious Promotional Site

With the fifth season of the acclaimed HBO series on the way in 2015, “Game of Thrones” has just launched a mysterious promotional site, ThreeEyedRaven.com. Presumably teasing the upcoming episodes, the series’ official Twitter feed posted the link along with a below video that, while terribly brief, does offer the faintest glimpse at what appears to be all-new footage.

After fans register with the site, they’re sent the following message:

“You now have the power of The Sight. Keep watch for visions of the future.”

Also called “Greensight,” The Sight is, in the original books, an incredibly rare prophetic ability that some children are born with. An animated “Histories and Lore” special feature on the season three set of “Game of Thrones” briefly explores the legend of The Sight with Isaac Hempstead-Wright narrating in character as Bran Stark.

Based on the popular book series “A Song of Ice and Fire,” by George R.R. Martin, the hit Emmy-winning fantasy series chronicles an epic struggle for power in a vast and violent fantasy kingdom. Members of the ensemble cast include Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Natalie Dormer, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner. The executive producers are David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger and Bernadette Caulfield, and co-executive producers are Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis and George R.R. Martin.
