TVLine has shared the plot details about the Season 21 premiere episode, titled “Algún Día.” Although brief, the details tease that the upcoming NCIS season will provide a more detailed perspective about Torres’s past.
“The NCIS team must help Torres when he puts his future at stake by confronting the man who tormented his family when he was a child,” TVLine shared.
What happened in Season 20?
The 20th season of NCIS concluded on a high note, in which Torres confronted a man he claimed he wanted dead. While his words implied that the man had wronged him in the past, Season 20 ended on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers wondering whether Torres would actually put the man to his demise.
With plot details already up in the air, Season 20 is shaping up to delve deeper into the special agent’s history and his dramatic upbringing.
NCIS Season 21 was delayed in 2023 due to Hollywood strikes. Now the upcoming season sets its return on CBS on February 12, 2024, at 9 p.m. ET., airing before new episodes of its spin-off series, NCIS: Hawai’i.
Apart from Valderrama, the cast of NCIS Season 21 also includes Gary Cole as Alden Parker, Sean Murray as Timothy McGee, Katrina Law as Jessica Knight, Rocky Carroll as Leon Vance, Brian Dietzen as Dr. Jimmy Palmer, and Diona Reasonover as Kasie Hines.
