DC Studios Co-CEO James Gunn has provided even more information about upcoming DC Studios projects over Twitter, including updates on Peacemaker and Waller.
When asked about Peacemaker Season 2 and if it was still happening, Gunn confirmed that the second season is still coming but that it will arrive after Superman: Legacy, which is set to release on July 11, 2025.
Another user asked Gunn if there were many more creatives attached to DC Studios’ upcoming projects, to which the director responded, “Yes.”
After confirming that the Creature Commandos television series will be released before Superman: Legacy, Gunn was asked if Waller — the series that follows Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller — will also be released before the Superman film. Gunn stated that it will be if it is done in time.
When asked if he sees himself working with Bradley Cooper — who voices Rocket in the Guardians of the Galaxy series — again in the future, Gunn responded positively, saying, “Very much so.”
Finally, Gunn comedically responded to a Twitter user who told him that they missed Henry Cavill, simply stating that “he still exists.”
The DC Universe’s first phase, called Chapter One: Gods and Monsters, will feature a multitude of different movies and television shows. A few of the announced projects include Superman: Legacy, a Batman and Robin-focused movie called The Brave and the Bold, a Supergirl movie titled Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, a Swamp Thing film, and multiple TV shows.
