Breaking Bad: Aaron Paul & Bryan Cranston Reprise Roles in Super Bowl Ad

The Super Bowl is just a couple of weeks away, and with it comes major advertisements. One of those ads will see the iconic duo of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul stepping back into their Breaking Bad roles of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman for a PopCorners commercial.

The company teased their upcoming commercial on Twitter, sharing a brief video of Paul as Pinkman, in the suit that he used to cook meth in Breaking Bad, eating some PopCorners in the desert. As he does, his phone rings, and while he answers, the camera pans out to reveal the iconic RV that both Pinkman and Walter White used in the series.

While Cranston’s Walter White wasn’t in the commercial, his character will seemingly show up in it at some point. Earlier this month, Cranston took to Instagram to share a photograph of Walter White, photoshopped with a bag of PopCorners in his hand. In the caption, he also teased his inclusion in the ad, which is set to run on February 12, 2023, the same day as Super Bowl LVII.

The upcoming ad will mark just the third time that the two have played the characters together on screen since Breaking Bad‘s finale in 2013. The first time was in a flashback scene in the Breaking Bad sequel film El Camino, while the second was in a cameo scene in the sixth season of the spin-off series Better Call Saul.
