Thanksgiving 2022 is finally here and brings some juicy news at Paramount+.
On Thursday, November 24, the streaming service (sign-up for Paramount+ here) will release the first two episodes of Criminal Minds: Evolution. The upcoming show is the revival of CBS’ Criminal Minds, which premiered on September 22, 2005, and wrapped up on February 19, 2020. Criminal Minds: Evolution features 10 installments that will air weekly until February 9, 2023. Briefly, the story follows the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit dealing with a network of serial killers built during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Criminal Minds: Evolution cast includes Joe Mantegna as David Rossi, Paget Brewster as Emily Prentiss, A.J. Cook as Jennifer Jareau “JJ,” Kirsten Vangsness as Penelope Garcia, Aisha Tyler as Tara Lewis, and Adam Rodriguez as Luke Alvez. Additionally, Zach Gilford as Elias Voit, Josh Stewart as Will LaMontagne Jr., and Nicole Pacent as Rebecca. The executive producers are Erica Messer, Breen Frazier, Christopher Barbour, Glenn Kershaw, and Mark Gordon. The project comes from The Mark Gordon Company, ABC Signature, and CBS Studios.
