The new series, Orphan Black: Echoes, will take “a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence.” The series will follow a group of women as they interact in one another’s lives, while also looking to solve the mystery of their identity in the process.
Ritter will play Lucy, a woman with “an unimaginable origin story,” and someone who is trying to find their place in the world.
Ritter’s inclusion in the series sees her return to AMC for the first time since breaking out in her role as Jane Margolis in the hit television series Breaking Bad.
