Obi-Wan Kenobi: Loki Composer Set to Score Star Wars Series

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Loki composer Natalie Holt revealed that she has been tapped to score the music for Lucasfilm’s newest Disney+ prequel series, Obi-Wan Kenobi. This makes her the first-ever female composer for a live-action Star Wars project. Holt also confirmed the involvement of Star Wars composer John Williams, who will be creating the show’s main title theme, describing it as “reflective” and “entirely appropriate” for the Ewan McGregor-led series.

For her work on the TV drama Victoria, the British composer earned her first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series. In addition to Obi-Wan Kenobi, she’s also currently working on the scores for HBO Max’s DC film Batgirl, and 2oth Century Studios’ The Princess.
