The first official teaser trailer for the third season of HBO’s Barry has been released, highlighting the journey Barry will go on for forgiveness when the series premiere on April 24, 2022.

The trailer seems to hint that the action will pick up right where Barry‘s second season left off, with Barry’s former friend Fuches (Stephen Root) revealing to Gene Cousineau (Henry Winkler) that Barry was a hitman. Check out the teaser trailer for Barry Season 3 below:

Barry stars Bill Hader, Henry Winkler, Anthony Carrigan, Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, and Sarah Burns, all of whom will be returning to the series for its third season.
“Desperate to leave his violent past behind in favor of his newfound passion, Barry (Hader) is attempting to untangle himself from the world of contract killing and fully immerse himself in acting,” reads the official synopsis for the upcoming third season. “But getting out is messy. While Barry has eliminated many of the external factors that pushed him towards violence, he soon discovers they weren’t the only forces at play. What is it about his own psyche that led him to become a killer in the first place? Season 3 finds Barry and the other characters trying to make the right choice.”

Barry‘s first two seasons were a smash hit for HBO, racking up 30 Emmy nominations and six total wins, with Bill Hader winning an Emmy for Best Actor in a Comedy Series and Henry Winkler winning for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2019.
