According to Variety, Apple TV+ continues to expand the all-star ensemble cast of the upcoming anthology series Extrapolations, with the addition of eight more cast members. This includes Diane Lane (Unfaithful), Heather Graham (Wander), Yara Shahidi (Black-ish), and The White Lotus alum Murray Bartlett, who was also recently cast in the second season of Apple TV+ dramedy Physical. Production is currently underway.
Ben Harper, Judd Hirsch (Uncut Gems), Hari Nef (You), and Neska Rose (Drama Club) have also been cast in the project centering around interconnected stories about climate change.

They will be joining an already stacked cast consisting of acclaimed stars including Meryl Streep, Matthew Rhys, Marion Cotillard, Eiza Gonzalez, Tobey Maguire, Forest Whitaker, Edward Norton, Kit Harrington, Sienna Miller, Gemma Chan, Tahar Rahim, Daveed Diggs, David Schwimmer, Adarsh Gourav, Indira Varma, Keri Russell, Cherry Jones, and Michael Gandolfini.
“The series tells the intimate, unanticipated stories of how the upcoming changes to our planet will affect love, faith, work and family on a personal and human scale,” reads the synopsis. “Told over a season of eight interconnected episodes, each story in the scripted series will track the worldwide battle for our mutual survival spanning the 21st century.”
Extrapolations is being written and directed by Scott Z. Burns (An Inconvenient Truth). This marks another partnership for Apple TV+ and Media Res following the Emmy, SAG and Critics Choice Award-winning “The Morning Show,” now in its second season.
