Ramsey, who plays Diggle (and his hero persona Spartan) in nearly all of the Arrowverse shows, including Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Batwoman, and Superman & Lois, will star in the drama series Justice U, which is currently in development at The CW.
The series will reportedly center around Diggle (Ramsey) as he looks to recruit five young metahumans to go undercover as freshmen at a prestigious university. There, he will oversee their education while also training them to become the next set of major superheroes. Variety reports that the characters appearing in the series will be based on various characters from DC Comics.
Alongside his starring role, Ramsey is also reportedly attached to direct the potential pilot of Justice U. Ramsey has also signed an overall directing deal with Berlanti Productions that will see him direct multiple episodes across multiple television series in the Arrowverse, while he will also continue to appear in the shows as well.
