Disney+ has announced that a brand new animated short film for The Simpsons titled The Good, The Bart, and The Loki is officially heading to the streamer on Wednesday, July 7. The Marvel-themed short will feature the return of Marvel Cinematic Universe star Tom Hiddleston as he lends his voice to the animated version of the fan-favorite God of Mischief. Hiddleston is currently starring in Marvel Studios’ Loki series, with the first four episodes already available for streaming on Disney+.
This announcement also comes with the release of its official key poster, which you can check out below, featuring an Avenger: Endgame-inspired design with most of the Simpsons characters dressed as MCU heroes including Lisa as Thor, Millhouse as Hawkeye, and Ralph as The Hulk. It also features our first look at The Simpsons version of Loki.

In The Good, The Bart, and The Loki, Loki is banished from Asgard once again and must face his toughest opponents yet: the Simpsons and Springfield’s mightiest heroes. The God of Mischief teams up with Bart Simpson in the ultimate crossover event paying tribute to the Marvel Cinematic Universe of Super Heroes and villains.
In addition to Hiddleston’s Loki, he will also be joined by many fan-favorite characters from The Simpsons. The upcoming short is the second in a series of Disney+ shorts from The Simpsons that highlight the service’s marquee brands and titles. The first one was a Star Wars-themed short titled Maggie Simpson in The Force Awakens from Its Nap which is now streaming on Disney+.

Created by Matt Groening (Futurama, Disenchantment), The Simpsons has been on-air for more than 30 years and had become a pop-culture phenomenon. The voice cast consists of Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson, Julie Kavner as his wife Marge, Nancy Cartwright as Bart, and Yeardley Smith as Lisa.
