It seems Wanda Maximoff and Vision’s latest adventure may have been altered with a very strange addition to the WandaVision post-credits scene.

Reddit user ANotCoolGuy posted a video of the WandaVision post-credits scene from the show’s finale in which a silhouette can be seen in the upper left quadrant of the screen. Despite the show concluding back in March, Disney and Marvel have made some interesting alterations to its first MCU television series. You can check out the video for yourself below.

While it’s certainly reasonable to think this is some fan-made edit, the site Murphy’s Multiverse has confirmed that this is indeed the version of the WandaVision post-credits scene that is now playing on Disney+. Additionally, there have been changes made to the actual scenery of that scene, as well as updated credits.

The mysterious figure’s identity has not been revealed. However, it seems likely that it could be Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, as Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is set to appear in the Sorcerer Supreme’s upcoming film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

WandaVision premiered back in January on Disney+. Alongside Olsen and Paul Bettany, the show featured Debra Jo Rupp, Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, Randall Park, and Kat Dennings. It was then followed by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which starred Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan in the titular roles. The Tom Hiddleston-led Loki is the latest MCU television series and is currently on its third episode.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is scheduled to premiere on March 25, 2022.
