Picking up ten years after the original Nickelodeon hit, the cast of iCarly will return to television screens via a thirteen-episode revival that airs on streaming service Paramount+. Following a birthday celebration for star Miranda Cosgrove, it was revealed that the show will premiere on June 17.

Cosgrove is joined by fellow original stars Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress. The update also adds two new stars, including Laci Mosley as the titular Carly’s roommate and Jaiddyn Triplett as the social media-savvy stepdaughter of Nathan Kress’ Freddie Benson.

Jay Kogen and Ali Schouten developed the new show and were initially signed on to showrunner and executive producer positions. However, Kogen left the show in February due to creative differences with Miranda Cosgrove. The show has continued on with Ali Schouten as the sole showrunner.
The new season of iCarly is just one of several Nickelodeon spinoffs hitting the streaming service this year. The CG animated reimagining of the network-defining Rugrats is set to debut on May 27. The service is also already airing Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, which is a prequel to the eternally-popular SpongeBob SquarePants. Further in the future, the service is developing live-action shows based on Dora the Explorer and The Fairly Oddparents.
