The Witcher Season 2 Adds Dolittle’s Carmel Laniado

According to Deadline, Dolittle actress Carmel Laniado has been tapped for a recurring role in the upcoming second season of Netflix’s Henry Cavill-led fantasy series adaptation of The Witcher. The new season will mark the British newcomer’s second TV show after making her acting debut in last year’s A Christmas Carol miniseries.

Set to appear in a minimum of three episodes, Laniado will be portraying the role of a young girl named Violet, whose playful and whimsical demeanor is a front for a smarter and more sadistic character. Laniado’s Violet is a new original character that doesn’t exist in Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher books.
