Star Trek Animated Series Headed to Nickelodeon

Star Trek: Picard, Discovery & Lower Decks Taking Over Hall H at SDCC

Deadline is reporting that all of CBS All Access’ Star Trek franchise series will be taking over Hall H at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

On Saturday July 20, attendees can expect back-to-back panels from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM in Hall H, launching with Star Trek: Discovery featuring star Sonequa Martin-Green and executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Michelle Paradise, and Heather Kadin. Guest star Tig Notaro will be moderating.

The next panel will offer a first look at Star Trek: Lower Decks, the upcoming animated series from executive producer Mike McMahan, who will be presenting along with one or two special guests.

Kurtzman will then return to the stage with Patrick Stewart for the first ever Star Trek: Picard SDCC panel. Co-stars Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Harry Treadaway, plus Michael Chabon and executive producers Akiva Goldsman and Kadin will also join the Hall H panel.

Outside of Hall H, there will be exclusive Star Trek pins available, which include a Picard coat of arms. Attendees can grab one of the pins on the 20th and 21st at the Star Trek Universe Booth (#4237). Fans will also have the chance to get on the U.S.S. Discovery during an immersive transporter experience. Talent from the CBS All Access series is expected to be at the booth throughout the weekend.

There will also be a Star Trek: The Next Generation, a Jean-Luc Picard: The First Duty exhibition open to fans, celebrating the long run of Stewart’s Picard. The exhibit will have original props, costumes, and other artifacts like Picard’s Ressikan flute, the family album, Starfleet uniforms, models of ships Picard captained, and the remnants of the Borg Queen displayed. First looks at some of the costumes and merch from Picard will also be on display.
