Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 will crossover ‘every week’ in new season
According to Deadline, Grey’s Anatomy and its spinoff series Station 19 are about to get a lot closer. The two series will converge next season — the 16th for Grey’s and third for Station — with plans to create a shared universe in which characters will move back and forth between both shows in what would essentially be two-hour episodes.
Grey’s show runner Krista Vernoff, who is set to takeover Station 19, stated, “People can expect crossover event between these series every week.”

The move makes sense as the recent crossover event between the two shows earned enough viewership for ABC to win the Thursday 8-10 p.m. slot among adults 18-49.
Station 19 is not a part of the Fall schedule, but will return for Season 3 later in the season. Grey’s Anatomy returns for its 16th season this fall.
Recipient of the 2007 Golden Globe Award for Best Drama Television Series and nominated for multiple Emmys, including Outstanding Drama Series, Grey’s Anatomy is considered one of the great television shows of our time. The high-intensity medical drama follows Meredith Grey and the team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial, who are faced with life-or-death decisions on a daily basis. They seek comfort from one another, and, at times, more than just friendship. Together they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white.
