Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne

DC Universe’s Titans Lands Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne

A Game of Thrones star is trading Westeros for Gotham City. Iain Glen, who plays the long-suffering former spy Jorah Mormont on the HBO epic, has just been cast as Bruce Wayne in the second season of the DC Universe original series Titans.

According to Deadline, the Titans producers describe the role as a much different take on the Caped Crusader’s alter ego. “After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.

Glen will be joining Esai Morales as Deathstroke, Chella Man as Deathstroke’s son, Jericho Wilson and Chelsea T. Zhang as Deathstroke’s daughter, Rose Wilson (aka The Ravager) for season two. The classically trained actor also be reprising his role when the final season of Game of Thrones kicks off Sunday night, though it’s anyone’s guess long he’ll survive over the course of those last six episodes.
