American Horror Story Season 9 Title Revealed!

Ryan Murphy has taken to Instagram to offer the first teaser for American Horror Story season 9, confirming that the title for the new season will be American Horror Story: 1984! Check out the first teaser in the player below!

It remains to be seen who will be part of the new season of the series but actor Evan Peters has already confirmed he will not return for the new season, marking the first time in the show’s history he won’t appear. Murphy has confirmed that Emma Roberts will return and star alongside Olympic gold medalist Gus Kenworthy.

Most of the regular American Horror Story cast members returned for the show’s eighth season, including Peters, along with Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Lily Rabe, Gabourey Sidibe, Frances Conroy and Stevie Nicks; as well as franchise newcomers Joan Collins and Cody Fern.

The Twentieth Century Fox Television production was renewed for two more seasons back in the fall of 2018, carrying it through to season 10.
