Deadline is reporting that CBS TV Studios has given a pilot order for the religion-themed supernatural drama Evil, from The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King.

The duo will executive produce and write the series, which focuses on “a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.”

The Kings signed a deal with CBS TV Studios last fall and produced the hit drama The Good Wife, starring Julianna Margulies, Chris Noth, and Josh Carles; along with BrainDead, starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Danny Pino, and Aaron Tveit. Per the report the couple are also developing the series Girls with Guns.
