Deadline brings word that Iain Armitage, Lance Barber, and Montana Jordan from CBS’ Young Sheldon spinoff will appear in an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory.
The three characters will make cameos in a December episode, and no storyline details have yet been released. Steve Molaro, co-creator of Young Sheldon, previously mentioned that “there’s no reason why we can’t keep going back and forth in this weird time portal that has been created between the two shows.”
The Big Bang Theory is executive produced by Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady, Steven Molaro, and Steve Holland. The series stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik, and Melissa Rauch. The series is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions, Inc., in association with Warner Bros. Television. The final season of the show debuted Monday, September 24 on CBS and airs on Thursday nights.
Young Sheldon is a half-hour, single-camera comedy series which stars Iain Armitage, Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Annie Potts, Raegan Revord, Montana Jordan and the voice of Jim Parsons. The show follows The Big Bang Theory‘s Sheldon Cooper (Armitage) at the age of 9, living with his family in East Texas and going to high school.
