The first installment of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law saw the Marvel Cinematic Debut of Titania.
After much anticipation, the She-Hulk series premiered on Disney+ earlier today. The story focuses on Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), a successful attorney who is also Bruce Banner’s (Mark Ruffalo) cousin. Episode 1 showed how the titular superheroine came into possession of her mighty powers. Right before the end of “A Normal Amount of Rage,” She-Hulk had to deal with an unnamed villain who was quickly dispatched by Walters. That mysterious villain is none other than Titania.
Who Is Titania?
Titania is the new villain introduced in the MCU in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 1. She appeared in the story when she attacked Jennifer during a court case. Titania broke into the room through the wall aiming at the clueless lawyer, but Jennifer reacted quickly and stopped the villain. In the comics, Titania’s real name is Mary MacPherran. Created by Jim Shooter, the character made her debut in 1984’s Secret Wars. She and She-Hulk have clashed on several occasions in the comic series as they both feature incredible strength. After strenuous training with Tryco Slatterus, a.k.a. Champion of the Universe, Titania became a skilled hand-to-hand combatant. Marvel Studios opted to change the villain’s costume for her live-action debut.
