Charmed Season 1 Episode 18 Recap

Charmed Season 1 Episode 18 Recap

At the end of the previous episode of The CW’s Charmed, Fiona took an aging, powerless Harry with her and restored his youth and powers. In Charmed Season 1 Episode 18, Galvin was back from Haiti, and the Charmed Ones learned to work under their new whitelighter, Tessa.

Cramming

Tessa warned the sisters that she would be testing them. She felt that they were too far behind to defeat the Source. Tessa brought a dead body to them that she believed a vampire had gotten to and tasked Maggie with looking after it in case it turned.

While with the dead body, Maggie could hear scratching noises and called for Tessa’s help. Tessa explained that her powers were expanding and that Maggie could hear the body’s soul.

Galvin was back from his quest to find a cure for Macy’s demonic side. The dead body was the customs agent from when Galvin landed. Macy confessed to Galvin that she no longer wanted the cure, and he took it well.

Abiku

Charmed Season 2 Episode 18 Recap

The sisters took the artifacts Galvin brought back to Mama Roz. While she was analyzing them, Galvin showed up. An Abiku had taken over him and killed Mama Roz. While Maggie and Mel were investigating, she heard Galvin’s soul crying out for help, and Mama Roz’s soul told them to take her dagger.

Meanwhile, Galvin and Macy were having dinner, but she soon realized he was no longer Galvin. The Abiku wanted Macy as a permanent host. Macy used her demonic powers to stop Galvin’s heart, which drove the demon out of him and restored Galvin’s soul to his body. The demon took Macy back to the house. The Charmed Ones vanquished the demon with a fire extinguisher and the dagger. Unfortunately, the real Galvin was not fine with Macy keeping the demon in her, and they broke up.

Black Student Union

Charmed Season 2 Episode 18 Recap

With Marisol, a former faculty member, having passed away, Maggie now had to find a way to pay for college. While researching scholarships she could apply to, she started looking into her African-American culture. Since she only just found out about her real father, Maggie hadn’t gone through life knowing she was black. She went to a group interview at the Black Student Union for a scholarship, but eventually didn’t go through with applying since it didn’t feel right to her. However, Maggie did want to go back to the BSU.

Blossoming Death

Mel worked a private event at The Haunt, and it turned out to be Niko and Greta’s engagement party. During the party, Maggie talked to Mel about the demon, and Niko overheard.

At the Sarcana headquarters, Mel ran into Niko, and the place looked like it had been ransacked. Mel revealed her magic to Niko but urged her to leave in case whatever had attacked the Sarcana came back. Through the magic door, Mel found the Sarcana members lying dead. Jada was the sole survivor, something she chalked up to being half-whitelighter. She explained it was Fiona, who had Harry. Mel found an ornament that belonged to Harry, and the sisters decided to use Tessa’s whitelighter connection to find him.
